UBD Researcher shares expertise during interview with Sky News

Dr. Afroz Shah, a Geoscientist at the Faculty of Science in UBD, shared his expertise during an interview with Sky News, emphasising the geological factors behind such catastrophic events. He highlighted the role of the Sagaing Fault in Myanmar and the region’s vulnerability to seismic activity, urging greater preparedness and resilience measures in Southeast Asia.
