About the EVPVA Scheme

The Eminent Visiting Professor and Visiting Academic (EVPVA) Scheme at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) supports academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, and research partnerships with distinguished scholars and professionals from around the world.

Through this scheme, external academics, researchers, and industry experts may be invited to work with UBD faculties, institutes, and centres on teaching, research, seminars, workshops, and collaborative projects. The initiative helps strengthen UBD’s academic environment while expanding international and regional research networks.

Academic Engagement & Roles

Appointments under the scheme may include roles such as visiting researchers, adjunct teaching staff, or visiting fellows, depending on the nature of the collaboration. Visitors typically work with UBD academics to contribute to teaching activities, research development, publications, and knowledge sharing within their areas of expertise.
