(CQU) officially strengthened their institutional partnerships through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, 28th January 2026.<\/p><p>The MoU was signed by Dr Hazri Haji Kifle, Vice-Chancellor of UBD, and Professor Dr Jun Yang, Vice-President of CQU. The signing was also witnessed by Dr Haji Abdul Hanif Dato Paduka Haji Mahadi, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Sustainability) of UBD and Professor Dr Hui Xie, Deputy Secretary-General of University Network of Research Cooperation (iUNRC), Vice Director of the International Office and Vice Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Development, CQU.<\/p><p>The signing marks an important milestone in strengthening institutional ties between UBD and CQU, reinforcing shared commitment to advancing academic excellence, research collaboration, and international engagement. The MoU provides a broad framework for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and collaborative activities that support innovation and capacity building.<\/p><p>The partnership strengthens collaborative efforts and reflects both universities\u2019 aspirations in contributing meaningfully to sustainable development, future-oriented research, and global knowledge networks. The MoU underscores UBD\u2019s continued commitment to expanding its global partnerships and strengthening its role as a leading research-intensive university in the region, all in alignment with
