Field-Weighted Citation Impact is the ratio of the total citations actually received by the denominator output and the total citations expected based on the average of the subject field. FWCI takes into account the differences in research behaviour across disciplines. Our FWCI score\u00a0shows that UBD&#8217;s publications currently have 45 percent more impact than the global average, with publications in many subject areas.\u00a0<\/p><p>The increase in citations shows the credibility of UBD researchers as well as the importance and reach of their studies worldwide. In order to facilitate high-impact research contributions, UBD provides capacity-building opportunities within and outside the country.
